Description
The
bayonet
consists
of a
slender
,
triangular
shaped
blade
that
tapers
to a
point
. A
curved
portion
extends
from the
larger
end
of the
blade
forming
an
open
ring
or
socket
. The
slender
spike-shaped
weapon
is
designed
to
fit
on the
muzzle
of a
rifle
barrel
,
turning
it
into a
spear
.

Bayonet is from an 1812 'cap and ball' army rifle.
