The
Six-Lined
Racerunner
has been
observed
in
hot
,
sandy
environments
as
well
as
open
woodlands
and
fields
,
where
it
preys
on
insects
,
spiders
, and
other
invertebrates
. This
species
exhibits
sexual
dimorphism
,
where
the
males
exhibit
blue
and
green
coloration
on its
ventral
and
lateral
sides
. The
Racerunner
gets
its
name
from the
speed
at
which
it
flees
predators
and
other
potential
threats
.
