Toad

animal

grassland
areas

southwest
. This
toad
spends
a
lot
of its
time
underground
waiting
for
nightfall
to
come
out
and
hunt
insects
. The
Great
Plains
is
valued
in the
agricultural
industry
because
it
preys
upon
insects
that
tend
to
damage
crops
.
