The
Pine
Woods
Tree
Frog
is
an
arboreal
species
and
spends
much
of its
time
in
tree
canopies
except
during
breeding
season
,
when
it
is
often
seen
calling
near
breeding
pools
. This
frog
gets
its
name
because
of its
strong
association
with
longleaf
pine
habitats
from
Virginia
southeast
to
eastern
Louisiana
.
