The
Brown
Anole
is
native
to
Cuba
and the
Bahamas
.
It
has been
introduced
in the
United
States
and
is
relatively
common
in
areas
of the
southeastern
United
States
and
Hawaii
.
It
is
a
common
sight
on the
walls
of
apartment
complexes
,
large
houses
, and
restaurants
with
sufficient
landscaping
. The
Brown
Anole
feeds
mostly
on
insects
and
other
arthropods
but has been
known
to
consume
lizard
eggs
as
well
as
other
lizards
.
