Lizard
is
usually
seen
dashing
for
cover
under
forest
debris
or
up
into
trees
in
dry
,
open
forests
.
Eastern
Fence
Lizards
eat
a
variety
of
insects
and
spiders
and
sometimes
pounce
on
potential
prey
items
from a
perch
above
. This
species
exhibits
sexual
dimorphism
:
males
develop
bluish
patches
at the
base
of the
throat
and on
each
side
of the
belly
.
