The
Pickerel
Frog
can
be
found
in
clear
,
cool
lakes
and
ponds
in the
eastern
United
States
where
it
feeds
on
insects
,
earthworms
, and
other
small
invertebrates
.
When
captured
, the
Pickerel
Frog
secretes
a
toxin
through
its
skin
glands
that
may
be
fatal
to
small
animals
and
even
cause
some
people
to
become
sick
.
Even
other
frogs
have been
known
to
die
when
enclosed
in
containers
with
Pickerel
Frogs
.
