Description
The
Twin-Spotted
Rattlesnake
gets
its
name
from
two
rows
of
spots
running
the
length
of its
dorsal
side
.
It
is
most
often
encountered
on
rocky
outcrops
in the
sky
island
regions
of
Arizona
,
where
it
is
listed
as a
protected
species
. The
Twin-
Spotted
Rattlesnake
feeds
on
small
rodents
,
lizards
, and
birds
. This
snake
is
venomous
and any
bite
from
it
should be
given
the
proper
medical
attention
immediately
.
