The
Mississippi
Ringneck
Snake
is
a
mildly
venomous
,
though
relatively
harmless
,
colubrid
snake
that
is
usually
found
under
woody
debris
in
open
prairie
or
grassland
areas
near
wooded
areas
. This
snake
exhibits
a
preference
for
earthworms
, but
it
will also
eat
salamanders
,
frogs
, and
insects
.
