Musket balls are an early form of ammunition, generally made from lead. The balls are muzzle-loaded into the barrel of a long gun, or musket, wrapped in a loosely-fitting paper patch and backed with gunpowder.
This is a four sided paddle razor strop that was used to sharpen straight edge razors. With a turned handle, it is made of wood wrapped with leather covering two sides.
Single square strand wire is wrapped with four point coil barbs at approximately half-inch intervals. This wire has patent RE 6914, issued Feb. 18, 1876, Joseph F. Glidden of De Kalb, Illinois.
