The Presto clear glass, wide mouth canning jar and lid were manufactured by Owens-Illinois Glass Company. The patent number is included on the lid: Pat. Re. 17562.
The clear glass bottle with a pale lavender tint is marked "Grove's Tasteless Chill Tonic." It is shaped like a flask, and contained a quinine medication to prevent and relieve malaria symptoms.
The narrow cylindrical bottle is light green glass with a raised inscription: "Mrs. Winslow's soothing syrup ... The Angle American Drug Co. Successors to Curtis Perkins Proprietor."
Manufactured using a two piece hinge mold, this brown glass bottle is embossed in a side indentation with the words "Hicks Capudine for all headaches colds, gripp, etc."
