The amber glass Gail Borden half gallon milk bottle was patented in 1857. The bottle's design features the profile of Gail Borden within a white circle. He invented a process for condensing milk that preserved it without refrigeration.
The fan made of accordian pleated coarse black fabric and unfolds forming a full circle. The brass-tipped handles are made of wood covered with a thin layer of leather, and can be held together by a small metal clip.
