This is a series of pictures taken while Mrs. Thomas made trips to Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. She started in December of 1966 and ended in March of 1967. She takes pictures with soldiers and with Japanese men and women.

This is a beige cowboy hat that is constructed with soft velvet material. A beige ribbon circles the top of the hat and there are red vent holes along the sides. The hat has a burnt orange leather lining.
