| Biographical Note | Born into a military family, Candice Hooper was born on Guam. After having lived in many different places, she went to the University of Illinois to study journalism and then receive a law degree from Georgetown University. Later in 2008, she received her MA degree in history, with a concentration in military history, from George Washington. After having first met Charlie at a luncheon as Congressman J.J. Pickleās guest, Candice went on to work for Charlie as his press assistant and later his legislative assistant. She was also vice president of a multinational energy company and legislative consultant to a major New York law firm. |
