Scope and Content Note | The El Camino Real de los Tejas Project was funded for three years by the National Park Service. The purpose of the project was to find connections between the life experiences of people who grew up in the area and those people who lived there between 1680 to 1845. It tells the story of life ways in three counties of the Texas Pineywoods area of the east-west transportation corridor designated as El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail. |
