Transcript	Pending my commercial transaction with this City from Kentucky, I recal (sic) but to have received a Negro fellow called Jess from Mr. Thomas Carneal and as well as my memory serves me at this Distance of time, I think it was to Cancel some claim which I had on John Craig Esq. but I cannot be certain, and I make this declaration at the request of Mr. Carneal.
