Personal Information	In 1900, the Blakey's rented a home on Negro Town Road and Charley was a day laborer. By 1910, the couple had moved to a house on North Mound Street and Charley worked as a private servant for a family. In 1920, they were still living on North Mound Street. Charlie was recorded as a farmer. By 1930, Christine had passed, Charley was renting a house on Tucker Street and worked as a teamstress (?).
Family Information	The Blakey's had two sons: Elmer and Christopher; and five daughters: Ethel, Carrie C., Loy D., Christine, and Devarh. In 1900, Charley's brother-in-law, Albert, was living with the family and unemployed. In 1920, the couple's son, Elmer, was living with them and employed as a porter. In 1930, their daughters, Ethel and Carrie, were both teachers at rural schools and still lived with their father. Charley also had his daughter-in-law, his niece and his nephew living with him.
