Dairy Production -- General debate only on H.R. 4196 , Dairy Production Stabilization Act {page 8). There will be a key vote later this week as a substitute which would eliminate a new program that would compensate dairy farme r s who produce less milk (page 12)o Record votes -- Record votes ordered today will be pos t poned until the end of business on Tuesday. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8 (House meets at noon ) SuspensjonQ -- Four bills are scheduled fo r cons ider ation under suspension of the rules (page 15). Contjnnjng Appropriations -- H.J.Res. 403, Continuing Appropriations for FY 1984 (page 19). There will be key votes on amendments by Reps. Wright and Perkins to increase funding for education, child nutrition, and other social programs (page 21). Commerce-Justice-State Appropriations -- The conference report on Commerce-Justice-State-Judiciary Appropriations for FY 1984 (page 25). There will be two key votes on motions to recede and concur with Senate amendments dealing with the Civil Rights Commission and the National Endowment for Democracy (page 30). Record votes -- Record votes ordered on Monday and today will be taken at the end of today's business. WEDNESDAY & BALANCE OF THE WEEK, NOVEMBER 9, 10, & 11 (House meets at 10 a.m. each day) Dairy Production -- H.R. 4196, Dairy Production Stabilization Act, complete consideration (page 8). Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
