MX Funds -- The House will continue consideration of
H.Con.Res. 113 (page 8).
Defense Authorization -- H.R. 2969, Defense Department
Authorization for FY 1984, will be debated (page 11). The
MX provisions of the bill, however, will not be considered
until after the Memorial Day recess. See DSG Fact Sheet
No. 97-6, "FY 1984 Defense Authorization," May 16.
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY, MAY 25 & 26

Supplemental Appropriations -- H.R. 3069, Supplemental Appropriations
for FY 1983 (page 19). This bill contains a limit
on honoraria received by Members of both the House and the
Senate equal to 30% of their salaries. See DSG Special Report
No. 97-8, "The Outside Income Issue -- II," May 20. It also provides
funds for the extension of the West Front of the Capitol.
Defense Authorization -- The House will continue consideration
of H.R. 2969 (page 11).
Memorial Day Recess -- At the close of business on Thursday,
the House will adjourn until Wednesday, June 1 for the
Memorial Day District Work Period.

He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
