Urgent Supplemental -- Despite House efforts to accede to objection by the President and the Senate, further action on Urgent Supplemental Appropriations for FY 1982 is required to resolve the matter (see Advisory on page 7) • FDR Memorial -- H.J.Res 400, FDR Memorial Authorization, is also scheduled for Floor action (page 9). WEDNESDAY & BALANCE OF THE WEEK, JULY +4,15, & 16 (House meets at 10 a.m. each day) Coast Guard -- H.R. 5617, Coast Guard Authorization, will be brought to the Floor (Page ll}. Military Construction -- H.R. 6214, Military Construction Authorization, is also scheduled for consideration (Page 12). * * *

Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
