* Health Research -- The House will complete consideration of
H.R. 6457, Health Research Extension Act (page 26).
* Ocean and Coastal Resources -- The House will also complete
consideration of H.R. 5543, Ocean and Coastal Resources
Management (page 30).
* Record Votes -- Record votes ordered today will be postponed
until 5 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29
D.C. Appropriations -- H.R. 7144, District of Columbia Appropriations
for FY 1983, is scheduled for Floor action (page 35).
Select Committee on Children -- H.Res. 421, Establish Select
Committee on Children, Youth, and Families, will be acted on
Nuclear Waste Disposal -- H.R. 6598, Nuclear Waste Disposal
Act, will be considered. A DSG Fact Sheet will be available
prior to Floor consideration.
Central Arizona Project -- S. 2177, Colorado River Basin
Project Act, is up for Floor action (page 39).
Surface Transportation -- H.R. 6211, Surface Transportation
Act, will be considered. A DSG Supplement will be available
prior to Floor consideration. .
Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996.
