No legislative business. * * TUESDAY, JUNE 8 (House meets at noon) Suspensions -- Nine bills are scheduled for consideration under suspension of the rules (page 1). Record votes -- Record votes ordered today will be postponed until Wednesday. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 9 (House meets at 10 a.m.) * Record Votes -- Record votes ordered Tuesday will be taken on Wednesday. * Budget Resolution -- H.Con.Res. ?, a new version of the First Budget Resolution for FY 1983, will be considered (page 15). The new resolution consists of the original Reagan budget submitted to Congress in February. Two substitutes, one Democratic and * * one Republican, will be in order. However, the substitutes will not be available until Tuesday, thus DSG will not be able to provide Members with a Fact Sheet on the two proposals until sometime Wednesday. THURSDAY & FRIDAY, JUNE 10 & 11 (House meets at 10 a.m. each day) Protection of Diplomats -~ H.R. 6254, Protection of Foreign Missions, is scheduled for Floor consideration (page 23). Foreign Aid -- H.R. 6370, International Security and Development Cooperation Act, is also listed on the schedule (page 23). A DSG Fact Sheet will be available prior to Floor consideration. * * *

Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
