MONDAY, DECEMBER 6 (House meets at 2 p.m.)
Democratic Caucus -- The 98th Congress organizational caucus
will meet in the House chamber at 9 a.m.
Highways/Gasoline Tax -- H.R. 6211, Surface Transportation Act,
will be considered (page 1). See DSG Fact Sheet No. 97-33,
December 3.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 7 (House meets at 1 p.m.)
Democratic Caucus -- The 98th Congress organizational caucus
will meet in the House chamber at 9 a.m.
Defense Appropriations -- H.R. 7355, Defense Department Appropriations
for FY 1983, is scheduled for Floor action (page 3).

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 8 (House meets at 2 p.m.)
Democratic Caucus -- The 98th Congress organizational caucus
will again meet in the House chamber at 8:30 a.m.
Defense AP~ropriations -- The House will complete consideration
of H.R. 73 5, Defense Department Appropriations for FY 1983
(page 3).
THURSDAY & FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9 & 10

caucus is called, it will be held in the House chamber on Thursday

Energy & Water Funds H.R. 7145, Energy and Water Appropria-tions
for FY 1983, will be considered by the House (pagell).
State-Commerce-Justice Funds -- H.R. 6957, State-Commerce-Justice-
Judiciary Appropriations for FY 1983, will be on the Floor
(page 19) .

| Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
