CONLON - Staff Director * -Ii * * * * * SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 11 1981 MONDAY, JUNE 1 (House meets at noon) Suspensions -- Eight bills are scheduled for consideration under suspension of the rules (page 1 - 8). Record Votes -- Recorded votes ordered today will be postponed until Tuesday. TUESDAY, JUNE 2 (House meets at noon) Suspensions -- There are five bills scheduled for consideration under suspension of the rules (pages 9 - 13). Record Votes -- Record votes ordered Monday will be taken. WEDNESDAY - FRIDAY, JUNE 3 - 5 (House meets at noon on Wednesday, and 10 a.m. Thursday and Friday) Democratic Caucus -- There will be a meeting of the Democratic Caucus at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on the House Floor to discuss the tax cut bill under consideration by the Ways and Means Committee. Military Construction -- H. R. 3455, Military Construction Authorization for FY 1982, will be considered (page 15). Supplemental Funds -- The conference report on H.R. 3512, FY 1981 Supplemental Appropriations and Rescissions, will be brought up as soon as it becomes available. A DSG Supplement will be available prior to Floor consideration. * * *

Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
