Suspension -- One bill is scheduled for consideration under
suspension of the rules (page 1).
Budget Resolution -- The House will continue consideration
of H.Con.Res. 115, First Concurrent Resolution on the FY 1982
Budget (page 2). See DSG Fact Sheet No. 97- 2, April 27, 1981,
and Supplement to DSG Fact Sheet No. 97-2, May 1.
TUESDAY, MAY 5
(House meets at noon)
Democratic Caucus -- There will be a meeting of the Democratic
Caucus at 9:30 a.m. on the House Floor on the budget resolution.
Suspension -- H.J.Res. 238, Virgin Islands Constitution, will
be brought up under suspension of the rules (page 11).
Budget Resolution -- The House will continue to consider
H.Con.Res. 115.
WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, & FRIDAY, MAY 6, 7, & 8

| Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
