Health Professions -- H.R. 7203, Health Professions and Nurse Training, is also expected to be considered (page 4). THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, SEPT. 4 AND 5 (House meets at 10 a.m.) Billy Carter Inquiry -- H.Res. 745, Resolution of Inquiry Concerning Billy Carter, is scheduled (page 11). Reconciliation -- H.R. 7765, FY 1981 Budget Reconciliation Act, will be considered (page 13). Rail Act -- H.R. 7235, Rail Act of 1980, is scheduled. A DSG Supplement will be available prior to Floor consideration. Foreian Service -- H.R. 6790, Foreign Service Act, may be considered (page 23). Other Legislation -- The following bills have also been listed on the schedule; DSG will cover them in Supplements to the Legislative Report if it appears that these bills may actually be considered this week: H.R. 6721, Airport and Airway Improvements; H.R. 7265, DOE National Security Programs Authorization; H.R. 7115, NSF Authorization; and H.R. 7244, International Monetary Fund. * * *

Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
