MONDAY , AUG. 25 (House meets at noon)
Suspensions -- Twelve bills are scheduled for consideration
under suspension of the rules (pages 1 - 11).
ERISA -- A motion will be made to agree to a substitute to
the Senate amendment to H.R. 3904, Multiemployer Pension
Plans (page 12).
Conference Reports -- The following three conference reports
are scheduled for Floor action: H.R. 5892, Wind Energy
Systems (page 15); H.R. 6974, DOD Authorizations (page 17),
and H.R. 5168, Armed Forces Personnel (page 21).
Health Research -- H.R. 7036, Health Research Act , may be
considered today (page 23).
TUESDAY, AUG. 26 (House meets at noon)
* Youth Act H.R. 6711, Youth Act of 1980, is scheduled for
House action (page 25).
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 27 (House meets at 10 a.m. )
* Labor-HHS-Education Funds -- H.R. 7998 , Labor-HHS-Education
Appropriations for FY 1981, will be considered by the House
(page 37).

Billy Carter Inquiry -- A motion may be made to table H.Res. 745,
Resolution of Inquiry in the Matter of Billy Carter, on grounds
that the Administration has substantially complied with
congressional requests for information.
DOE Programs -- H.R. 7265, DOE National Security Authorizations,
may be considered. A DSG Supplement will be available
prior to Floor consideration.
Science -- H.R. 7115, NSF Authorization, also may be considered.
A DSG Supplement will be available prior to Floor
consideration.

| Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
