SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 8, 1980
MONDAY, SEPT. 8 (House meets at noon)
Suspensions -- Eleven bills are scheduled for consideration
under suspension of the rules (pages 1 - 16).
Foreign Service -- H. R. 6790, Foreign Service Act, will be
considered (page 18).
Military Construction H.R. 7301, FY 1981 Military Construction
Authorization, is also expected to be considered
(page 27).
TUESDAY, SEPT. 9 (House meets at noon)
Rail Act -- The House is scheduled to complete consideration
of H.R. 7235, Rail Act of 1980 (page 31).
DOE Programs - - H.R. 7265, DOE National Security Authorization,
is also scheduled for Floor action (page 41).
IMF Quota - - H.R. 7244, Increase U.S. Quota in International
Monetary Fund, may be considered. If the bill is brought
up, a DSG Supplement will be available prior to Floor
consideration.
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 10 (House meets at 10 a.m.)
Billy Carter Inquiry - - H.Res. 745, Resolution of Inquiry
Concerning Billy Carter, is scheduled (page 45).
Intelligence Oversight -- H.R. 7668, Intelligence Oversight
Act, may be considered. A DSG Fact Sheet will be available
prior to Floor consideration.
Oil Pollution Liability -- H. R. 85, Comprehensive Oil
Pollution Liability, is listed on the schedule. If the
bill is actually considered, a DSG Supplement will be
available prior to Floor consideration.

| Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
