MONDAY, SEPT. 29 (House meets at noon)
Northwest Power -- S. 885, Pacific Northwest Power, will be
considered (page 1). See DSG Fact Sheet No. 96-49, September 23.
Coastal Zone -- H.R. 6979, Coastal Zone Management, is scheduled
for today (page 4).
Airport Develotment -- H.R. 6721, Airport and Airway Development
Act, is a so scheduled (page 8).
TUESDAY, SEPT. 30 (House meets at noon)
Suspensions -- Thirty-three bills are scheduled for consideration
under suspension of the rules (pages 19 - 48). A DSG Supplement
on Suspension number 4 will be available prior to Floor
consideration.
Umemployment Compensation -- H.R. 8146, Federal Supplemental
Unemployment Compensation, will be considered. A DSG Supplement
will be available prior to Floor consideration.
Revenue Sharing -- H.R. 7112, Revenue Sharing Extension, also
will be considered. See DSG Fact Sheet No. 96-48, September 22.
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 1 (House meets at 10 a.m.)
Agents' Identities -- H.R. 5615, Intelligence Agents' Identities
Protection Act, will be considered by the House. See DSG Fact
Sheet No. 96-50, September 24.
Coal Slurry -- H.R. 4370, Coal Pipeline Act, also will be
acted on. See DSG Fact Sheet No. 96-47, September 18.
Other Legislation -- The following other bills are scheduled
for today (DSG Supplements will be available prior to Floor
consideration): H.R. 6704, Juvenile Justice; H.R. 6667, Water
Pollution Control; and H.R. 7548, Farm Credit Act Amendments.

| Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
