SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 28, 1980
MONDAY, JULY 28 (House meets at noon)
Suspensions -- There are nine bills scheduled for consideration
under suspension of the rules (pages 1-12).
HUD Funds --The House will complete consideration of
H.R. 7631, HUD-Independent Agencies Appropriations (page 13).
TUESDAY, JULY 29 (House meets at noon)
Suspension One bill is scheduled for consideration under
suspension of the rules (page 17).
Agriculture Fuds -- H.R. 7591, Agriculture Appropriations for
scheduled for Floor action (page 18).
WEDNESDAY, JULY 30 (house meets at 10 a.m.)
Olympics Athletes -- At 11:45 a.m. there will be a presentation
of gold medals to members of the 1980 U.S. Olympic
Team on the steps of the Capital.
Reconciliation -- H.R. 7765, Omnibus Budget Reconciliation
Act, will be considered by the House. A DSG Fact Sheet will
be available prior to Floor consideration.
Gas Rationing -- A motion is expected to be made to discharge
the Commerce Committee from consideration of H.J.Res. 575,
Disapproving the Administration's Gasoline Rationing Plan
(page 23). See DSG Fact Sheet No. 96-43, July 22.
Exim Bank -- H.J.Res. 539, Authorization for Exim Bank, is
also scheduled for House action (page 24).
THURSDAY, JULY 31 (House meets at 10 a.m.)
Interior Funds -- H.R. 7724, Interior Appropriations for
FY 1982, will be considered by the House (page 25).
Trasportation Funds -- H.R. 7931, Transportation Appropriations
or FY 1981, may be considered. A DSG Supplement will
be available prior to Floor consideration.

| Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
