Energy Committee -- H.Res. 549, Establishment of a Standing
Commlttee on Energy, will be considered (page 5).
WEDNESDAY, MAR. 26 (House meets at 3 p.m.)
FTC Funds -- H.J.Res. 514, FTC Appropriations, will be considered
(page 11).
Mortgage Bonds -- The House is scheduled to complete consideration
of H.R. 5741, Mortgage Subsidy Bond Tax Act (page 11).
Maritime -- H.R. 6554, Maritime Authorizations, may be considered
(page 20).
THURSDAY, MAR. 27 (House meets at 11 a.m.)
ABSCAM Probe -- H.Res. 608, Authorizing an Investigation by
the Standards Committee, is scheduled for Floor action (page 23).
Conference Reports -- Three conference reports are scheduled
for House action: S. 662, International Development Banks
(page 24); H.R. 4986, Depository Institutions Deregulation Act ;
and S. 2269, Extend Emergency Agriculture Credit Adjustment
Act. DSG Supplements will be available on the latter two
measures prior to Floor consideration.
Railroad Rebuilding - - H.R. 6837, Passenger Railroad Rebuilding
Act of 1980, may be considered. A DSG Supplement will be
available prior to Floor consideration.
Gold Medal - - H.R. 4960, Gold Medal for Gerald Spiess, is
scheduled for Floor action (page 27).
Spanish in Courts - - H.R. 5563, Permit Use of Spanish Language
in Federal Courts in Puerto Rico, is also scheduled
(page 27) .

| Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
