SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 31, 1980
MONDAY, MAR. 31 (House meets at noon)
RR Rebuilding -- The House is scheduled to complete consideration
of H.R. 6837, Passenger Railroad Rebuilding Act (page 1).
Spanish in Court -- H.R. 5563, Use of Spanish Language in
Federal Courts in Puerto Rico, is scheduled for Floor action
(page 4).
Suspensions -- Two bills are scheduled for consideration under
suspension of the rules (pages 6-7).
TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY, APR. 1 & 2
(House meets at 10 a.m. each day)
D.C. Finance Agency -- The conference report on H.R. 3824,
D.C. Housing Finance Agency Bonds, is scheduled (page 9).
Exchange of Property -- H.R. 6464, Exchange of Property in
Michigan, is also scheduled for Floor action (page 9).
Maritime Programs -- H.R. 6554, Maritime Authorizations, will
be considered by the House (page 10).
Sea Grant -- H.R. 6614, Sea Grant Authorizations, also may be
considered by the House (page 12).
International Banks -- The conference report on S. 662,
International Development Banks, is scheduled for consideration
(page 14).
Idaho Wilderness -- S. 2009, Central Idaho Wilderness Act,
may be considered (page 16).
Easter Recess -- The House will adjourn Wednesday for the
Easter District Work Period and will reconvene at noon on
Tuesday, Apr. 15.

| Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
