China Trade -- H.Con.Res. 204, Extension of Nondiscriminatory
Treatment to Products of China, is scheduled (page 1).
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 23 (House meets at 3 p.m.)
Trade Commission -- H.R. 2471, U.S. International Trade Commission
and Customs Service Authorization, will be considered
(page 3).
Water Resources H.R. 4788, Water Resources Development Act
of 1979, also will be considered (page 3).
State of the Union -- President Carter will deliver his State
of the Union address to a joint session of Congress beginning
at 9 p.m.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 24 (House meets at 11 a.m.)
Kennedy Center -- H.R. 3051, Kennedy Center Authorization, is
scheduled for House consideration (page 13).
Feathers and Downs -- H.R. 2492, Tariff Treatment of Crude
Feathers and Downs, is also scheduled for Floor action (page 13).

| Biographical Note | Congressman Charles Wilson began his political career in 1960 when he was elected to the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the Texas House of Representatives for six years and was then elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. On November 7, 1972, the second district of Texas elected Charles Wilson to the U.S. House of Representatives. He retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. |
