Description	A contract was made with Moore Construction Company of Ranger, for a bid of $129,590, for the construction of the main (administration) building. The construction started in September 1922 with the plans of completion and the opening of the college in September 1923. A wet winter ended any hopes of construction being completed on time, along with a dispute between the Moore Construction Company and the architect and the state inspector of masonry over how payments were being made. An agreement was worked out with the bonding company and construction resumed in the summer of 1923. Construction on the Austin Building was completed in May of 1924 and SFA moved into its current location. It was known as the Main Building because it was the only completed building on campus.
