Marion Wall participated, through civilian service at the Army Air Forces Aero Medical Center in Heidelberg, Germany, in clearing-up activities related to the end of World War II. The Center's mission was to exploit uncompleted German aviation medical research projects and to translate captured German aero medical documents.
Scope and Content Note
The collection also consists of a transcript, "Opening statement for the United States against Karl Brandt, et al", articles from "The Stars and Stripes" and articles from the magazine "Aviation, Space, and Environmental Medicine." Also part of the collection are two books by Eric Sloane, "Gremlin Americanus" and "Clouds, Air and Wind." These books are cataloged and in the Special Collections book stacks.
