Biographical Note	The AAHP's main purpose is to research about and bring into the public domain knowledge about the life and culture of the African American community of Nacogdoches and East Texas. The goal of the AAHP is to capture and to document the dynamics of local African American history and to place it into context of Nacogdoches' past and present.
